Abstract

1321103 Wall shuttering RAPID METAL DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 19 April 1971 [1 May 1970] 21019/70 Heading E1S [Also in Division F2] A tie rod end piece comprises an elongated nut 10 encircled by a sleeve 13 formed integrally with a skirt 14 of flexible material to provide an annular gap 15. The cup-shaped member 12 formed by the sleeve 13 and skirt 14 is moulded of synthetic resin around the nut 10 which has a groove 16 into which the resin flows. The tie rod is for assembling shuttering for casting concrete and the construction of the end pieces allows them to be reclaimed after the concrete has set.
