Abstract

1310840 Liquid level control ADDRESSOGRAPH-MULTIGRAPH CORP 3 Sept 1970 [29 Sept 1969] 42281/70 Heading G1H [Also in Division G2] In a liquid level sensing apparatus, such as for use in a diazotype developer, in which a conductive developing fluid is applied to copy sheets from a reservoir 16 by a roller 20 having a wiper 26 for removing excess fluid the arrangement is such that an electrode 68, arranged a predetermined distance d 2 below the top of the reservoir 16, in circuit with a further electrode 58, terminating at a predetermined distance d 1 below the top of a reserve reservoir 14, activates a pump 44 to supply further fluid to the reservoir 12, should the level in such reservoir fall below the level d 2 , and stop the rotation of roller 20 should the fluid level fall below d 2 when the reserve reservoir 14 is empty.
