Abstract

130,953. Edmonds, H. June 4, 1919. Infusers.-In a tea-infuser of the type comprising a perforated spoon-like utensil with a perforated hinged cover. The cover or the handle is provided with a spring clip which engages with the handle or with a projection on the cover to hold the coven in an open or closed position as desired. In the form shown, the clip h is attached to the cover g and is of the cross-section shown in Figs. 4 and 5, which show the clip as it is when the cover is closed and open respectively. The bowl is secured to the wire handle c by a tang b, the sides of which are rolled round the wires.
