1308043 Clamps HYMATIC ENG CO Ltd 29 May 1970 [29 May 1969] 27293/69 Heading E2B A screw-operated band clamp is provided with additional straps 20, 21 which latch together when the clamp is tightened and serve to prevent complete relaxation of the clamp on failure of the screw. Strap 20 has upstanding latches 22 which engage through a hole (23) in strap 21 (Figs. 3-6, not shown). The band may be faced with channel-shaped segments 18 for gripping pipe flanges.
