Abstract
1305113 Pneumatic conveyers; spreading material E WEICHEL 11 June 1970 [14 June 1969] 28283/70 Headings B8A and B8E A device for producing the uniform distribution of material in a housing 1 from a conveyer blower 14 comprises a conveyer pipe having a terminal section 4 to which a material distributer 13 is attached and an intermediate section 5, the section 4 being movable relative to and over the section 5 on rollers 6, 7 thus providing distribution of material along the housing 1. The pipe section 4 is movable by means of a shaft (not shown) driven by a gear 19, the shaft being connected to a sprocket (62), Fig. 3 (not shown), which drives through a sprocket (69) and angle drive (65) a driving pinion 22 along rails 9 while the discharge deflector 37 of distributer 13 is rotated by the gear 19 to provide lateral distribution of the material. In further embodiments, Figs. 4-7 (not shown), the terminal pipe section is formed as a hood (25) movable along upper rails (9) and having a detachable and foldable bottom wall (26), such that when the hood (25) is moved axially through the wall of the housing, the bottom wall (26) is either wound around a drum (30), Fig. 6 (not shown) or telescoped, Fig. 7 (not shown).
