Abstract

1300477 Solder alloys SIEMENS AG 9 Oct 1970 [11 Oct 1969] 48212/70 Heading C7A [Also in Division H1] Soldering alloys for attaching graphite to metal, e.g. molybdenum, comprise Zr-Mo, Zr-W and Mo-molybdenum carbide eutectics. An alloy of 70% Zr and 30% Mo may also be used. The metal may be coated with carbides of Zr, Ta, Hf to prevent diffusion of carbon into the surface during soldering.
