1393258 Transfers IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 9 Feb 1973 [15 March 1972] 12086/72 Heading B6C A transfer material comprises a substrate having an image printed in one or more sublimable disperse dyestuffs with a thickener or binder and an overall "tack layer" containing a non-volatile dyestuff or non-volatile optical brightener. The tack layer consists of a resin material which is non-tacky at ambient temperatures but becomes so on heating during the transfer process therby holding the transfer material in position on the material to be printed.
