Abstract

1388270 Valves J D MCLELLAND 2 Nov 1972 [11 Nov 1971] 52530/71 Heading F2V [Also in Division G3] A flow metering valve has a rotary plug 17 with a groove 25 of tapering width and depth co-operable with an angled slot 26 in cylinder 13, fluid flowing to the groove from inlet 14 via passage 28 in the plug. A filter is installed at 30 and another filter may be included at 31. Knob 23 is used to rotate the plug.
