Abstract
1379400 Selective printing KOKUSAI DENSHTN DENWA KK 22 Dec 1971 [22 Dec 1970] 59785/71 Headings B6F and B6P A printer comprises a non-magnetic sheet holding liquid magnetic ink and magnets 3 for attracting the magnetic ink away from the holding sheet 6 to deposit the ink on paper 5 between the sheet and the magnets 3. The sheet may be on a drum 7, or may be a belt (Figs. 3, 4A, not shown), on which ink may be held on a surface (Fig. 4A), or on an edge (Fig. 3), thereof. The magnets may be mounted on an endless belt (Figs. 3, 4A).
