Abstract

1379042 Rocker and swivel device for a seat FLETCHER BROS (CASTINGS) Ltd 12 Sept 1972 [29 Sept 1971] 45329/71 Heading A4U In a rocker and swivel device for use in a seat assembly, a resilient pad 6 is supported on a holder 21 having a pair of opposite side walls 22 which prevent side ways rocking of the mounting plate 2 to which the seat is secured. The plate 2, pad 6 and holder 21 may rotate as a unit about a spindle 18 of constant diameter or the spindle 18 may be replaced by a shouldered shaft Fig.5 (not shown) the lower half of which may be received in a hollow cylindrical bearing of a column secured to the base of the assembly.
