1378547 Pulp screening machine YHTYNEET PAPERITEHTAAT OY 26 June 1972 [3 Feb 1972] 29804/72 Heading B1D A screening machine for paper pulp comprises an inward-flow cylindrical screen 1 whose outer surface is cleaned by at least one blade 2 rotating about the screen axis, the blade having a hollow cross-section as shown so that rejected pulp held by the screen is carried into the interior space 3 of the blade and alongsaid space to a rejects discharge zone (6) at the top of the screen. Inlet (11) delivers pulp tangentially into the housing (Fig. I, not shown). Several concentric screens could be arranged each with their own blades.
