1374049 Pressure-sensitive recording sheets YAMADA KAGAKU KENKYUSHO CO Ltd 21 Dec 1972 [27 Dec 1971] 59158/72 Heading D2B [Also in Division C4] Fluoran compounds of the general formula: wherein X is H, halogen or C 1 -C 5 alkyl, R 1 is C 1 -C 5 alkyl, R 2 , R 3 and R 5 which may be the alkyl, and R 4 is H, halogen, C 1 -C 5 alkyl, amino, alkylamino, aralkylamino or acylamino, or wherein R 2 and R 3 together or R 4 and R 5 together may complete an aromatic ring are used in copying papers. They may be dissolved in wax or microencapsulated and then coated on a support sheet.
