Abstract

1373852 Textile treating apparatus COLGATE-PALMOLIVE CO 11 April 1972 [13 April 1971] 16625/72 Heading D1L For use in combination with a perforated dryer drum a distributor for liquid textile conditioners which comprises an elongated container having a filler opening, a removable closure for the opening, means suitable for engaging perforations in the drum to attach the container to the drum, and a surface with a series of fluid discharge aperatures extending therethrough, preferably covered with a porous covering e.g. felt or a porous plastics. The means for attaching the container to the drum is preferably a clip which also secures the porous covering. Figure 4 shows a container 22 provided with a porous covering 84 for transferring liquid metered through openings 30, when in the dead centre position shown in Figure 9, wherein the container is secured on the inner surface of a dryer drum 34. The drum 34 is provided with a series of perforations 36 to receive a securing clip 38.
