Abstract
1372947 Spherical joints T P LAM 15 Sept 1972 42904/72 Heading E2F [Also in Division A6] A doll, &c has a limb articulated to its body by a joint including an intermediate component 10, Figs. 2, 3, formed with frustoconical and frusto-spherical portions 11, 13, a slot 14 dividing the latter into two offset arms between which the annularly shaped end 15 of the limb is inserted, a circumscribing groove 16 of the component fitting into a recess defined by a rib 12, Fig. 1, in the body. A snapfit pin 35, 36 is passed through the opposite sides of a hole 20 in the component 10 and through the centre of the limb end 15, to hold the limb and component together. In the form shown, the limb ends 15 are offset relatively to the legs L of which they are a part.
