Abstract
1359445 Pipe couplings EISENBAU ALBERT ZIEFLE KG 23 Feb 1973 [4 March 1972] 9121/73 Heading F2G An electrically insulating junction member, for coupling into a pipeline, has insulating layers coated on opposing frusto-conical surfaces, which are pressed together, by a ring 16. The layers, including an additional layer 17, which may be of nylon, are coated by a cyclone sintering process. A nylon sealing ring 4 may be omitted. In another form rings 16 and 18 are formed as a single member. On assembly, the screwthreads 15 and the surfaces 5 and 8 each have a hardenable adhesive applied to them.
