1352955 Washing machines WASCHEREIMASCHINENBAU FORST VEB 13 June 1972 27616/72 Heading D1A A water heater 5, of a washing machine with a drum 2 rotatable about a horizontal axis for washing and spin-drying within a tub 1, is mounted on the exterior of the front end wall of the tub 1 beneath a drum access door 4. The heater 5 comprises a casing 6 connected by one or more ducts 9 with the tub 1, containing electrical heating elements 7 or steam heating pipes and having a detachable wall 10 for cleaning purposes.
