Abstract

1348740 Aerating liquids ELECTROLUX AB 23 Oct 1972 [25 Aug 1972] 48645/72 Heading B1C [Also in Divisions Fl and G1] Apparatus for conveying liquid from a receptacle by means of a liquid transport conduit under vacuum comprises a suction conduit 17 having a valve 16 to control flow of liquid therethrough, the conduit 17 in use being connected at one end to the liquid transport conduit 13 and having at its other end 18 a float 20 and an air admission hole. 19 whereby air is mixed with the liquid to reduce its bulk density. The float 20 is coupled to an auxiliary valve 25 by means of two cords 30, 31 a pulley 22 and a lever arm 24, to open or close the valve 25 at maximum and minimum liquid levels, respectively. The auxiliary valve 25 in turn controls the valve 16, the auxiliary valve when open connects an operating member 29 of the valve 16 with the prevailing vacuum in the liquid transport conduit 13 via conduits 27, 28 to open the valve 16.
