1347978 Ventilating nozzle for vehicles CLEAR HOOTERS Ltd 18 Oct 1971 [7 Nov 1970] 53052/70 Addition to 1177390 Heading F4V A ventilating nozzle for a vehicle comprises a housing 1 having an inlet 2 and an outlet 3. The housing 1 contains a deflector unit comprising a spindle 5 mounted for rotation about an axis extending transversely of the housing, which spindle 5 carries a plurality of parallel vanes (6) inclined obliquely to the axis of the spindle, and a butterfly valve 9 mounted for rotation about an axis parallel to the axis of the spindle. The spindle 5 is operated by a wheel (8), and the butterfly valve 9 by a second wheel 11.
