Abstract

1347307 Liquid level indication WESTLAND AIRCRAFT Ltd 6 Sept 1972 [28 Sept 1971] 45149/71 Heading G1H In a liquid level indicating means the liquid level 17 in a first container 11 is indicated relating to a datum level during changes in attitude by a pointer 13 and float 15, or an electrically operated liquid level response device, Fig. 3 (not shown), in an upper second container 12. In the electrically operated means leads are connected to a strip indicator in the second container so that an indicator needle is moved over a transparent surface as the attitude of the containers change. In a further embodiment, Figs. 6 and 7, (not shown), two electrically operative response means, one for the upper tank and one for the lower, indicate the level on a single transparent surface.
