Abstract

1343651 Clips P DINGLEY 20 Oct 1972 [30 Oct 1971] 50539/71 Heading E2B A clip comprises an elongate resilient flat strip member formed into a part-cylindrical, substantially closed loop 11 the free end portions 13 of the member being directed generally radially inwardly and being movable from a first position at which they abut or are closely adjacent one another and a second position in which they are spaced apart, the resilience of the member being such that the portions 13 are biassed into their first position. In modifications, the portions 13 overlap so that the free ends thereof are spaced apart; cutouts or recesses are provided adjacent the free ends along opposite edges of the strip whereby the tongued portions co-operatively engage in the cutouts or recesses.
