1340870 Lampholders ELECTRONIC CONTROL & SURVEILLANCE Ltd G SEWELL and M SEWELL 13 Dec 1971 [31 Dec 1970 15 March 1971] 61959/70 and 7166/71 Heading H2E [Also in Divisions H1 and F4] A lampholder, for supporting a tungsteniodine lamp 1 mounted within an outer envelope 2 of borosilicate glass for use underwater or in wet environments, comprises bored terminals 11 for receiving the lamp pins 5 in spring contact clips 12 inside the bores. The terminals 11 are located in bores in a sintered glass core 10 inside stainless steel shell 7 which may be mounted on a bulkhead with a sealing ring in channel 19 of flange 7b. A reflector for the lamp may be mounted on the socket portion 15 of shell 7.
