A drive 9 serves to move the table 7 between a lowered (Fig. 2) and a raised position (Fig. 1). A spindle 12 can be rotated and serves to support and rotate the table 7 when the chamber 5 is in its casting position (raised). The chamber 5 is equipped with vacuum gate valves 14 and 15 and with pins 16 for aligning and supporting the table 7.
