[Also in Division C5] A mixing apparatus for introducing air into a stream of bitumen to form a foam comprises two coaxial tubes, the inner one 20, which is the air input line, having an outwardly flared exit wall 22 which contacts around its periphery the inner wall of the outer tube. The flared wall is perforated at 23 to permit passage of bitumen into the air stream.
