Abstract

1,237,583. Gas burners. TOKYO GAS CO. Ltd. 5 Sept., 1968 [16 May, 1968], No. 42296/68. Heading F4T. A gas burner comprises a central air flow tube 1 communicating with a gas-fed burner pipe 6 through radial air nozzles 5 and air ports 12 and having air outlets 9 leading to the exterior of the pipe 6 to supply secondary air to a recirculation zone 7 at the outlet of the pipe 6. In addition, secondary air is delivered downstream of a tip zone 10 to combine with the above effects to stabilize the flame and cool the burner pipe.
