1,236,921. Halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon - organic phosphite compositions. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 5 July, 1968 [25 July, 1967], No. 34172/67. Heading C2C. [Also in Divisions C3 and C5] composition comprises a halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and an organic phosphite or thiophosphite. Specified solvents are tri- and per-chloroethylene, 1,1,1-trichloro- and tetrachloro-ethane and 1,1,2-trichloro- 1,2,2-tri-fluoroethane while trimethylol propane, 2 : 2-di-(hydroxymethyl)-butyl dihydrogen, diisodecylerythrityl di, triphenyl, tri-(p-nonylphenyl), p-chlorophenyl dihydrogen, diphenyl isodecyl, and diphenyl isooctyl, phosphites are listed. The phosphite may be present in an amount up to 5% by weight based on the solvent.
