Abstract

1,236,945. Gyratory crushers. D. KUENEMAN and C. P. KENVILLE. 23 July, 1968 [27 July, 1967], No. 3204/71. Divided out of 1,236,944. Heading B2A. The subject matter of this specification is identical with that described in Specification 1,236,944 but the claims are concerned with a bowl rotating mechanism for adjusting the axial displacement of the bowl relative to the main frame. The mechanism comprises a swinging arm 73 pivotally mounted on the main frame and a double ended pawl 12 pivotally connected to the swinging arm, so that when the arm is moved by an actuator 78 one end of the pawl engages with cooperating recesses on the bowl to cause the bowl to rotate in response to oscillatory movement of the arm in use.
