Abstract

1,212,537. Constructional toy. K. B. SHACKLETON. 10 Feb., 1969 [8 Nov., 1967], No. 50905/67. Heading A6S Building bricks for a constructional toy are in the form of a polyhedron at least two faces of which is provided with an array of upstanding projections with spaces between adjacent projections, the projections of each row or column being separated by a space equal to a transverse dimension of one projection. In a preferred embodiment (Fig. 1) the biulding bricks are cubes and the projections are in the form of cylindrical pegs of equal diameter and length, the cube may have four, five or six faces provided with identical arrays when considered as a development view, the arrays on the remaining faces being different. A base plate and a wheel and axle member are also described for use with the building blocks of the invention.
