Abstract

1293017 Spinning RATIONALISIERUNG EBM VEB 6 Feb 1970 5757/70 Heading B3J A method of forming a hollow body comprises spinning a blank 3 against a rotatable support 5 and reducing its diameter in stages. The blank is rotated by a spindle 1 as it is formed, by a roller 4, against the hollow support 5 which surrounds the spindle 1. A slide 6 carries the support 5 for adjustment in direction X between stages 3<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>11</SP>, 3<SP>111</SP>, Fig. 2 (not shown).
