Abstract

1279171 Scraper bowl elevators CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 2 April 1970 [3 April 1969] 15645/70 Heading E1F The upper and lower side portions of the frame 44 of an elevator of a bowl type earth scraper are respectively mounted on the sides of the scraper bowl by means, preferably pairs of swing links 55 and 61, and one of the means, preferably the lower means 71, has a torque transmission means 71 connecting the portion of said means 71 on one side of the frame to the other portion of the means on the other side of the frame. Interacting means 85, 87 and 89, 91 are provided on the torsion bar and on the frame to reduce shock-loading on the frame.
