127,772. Lea, F. C. Sept. 9, 1918. Water solutions of chemical compounds for proofing.-Castings are rendered impervious lo water or other fluids by treatment with a solution of sodium silicate with or without sodium hydrate. The solution may be applied hot, and may be under pressure.
