1276774 Halocarbonyl isocyanates FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER AG 18 Aug 1970 [19 Sept 1969] 39707/70 Heading C1A [Also in Division C2] Isocyanates of the formula where Hal is a halogen atom are prepared by reacting a compound of formula at 10‹ to 150‹ C. with a strong anhydrous acid which contains dissociable hydrogen attached to oxygen, e.g. methane sulphonic acid, chlorosulphonic acid, trichloro- and trifluoro-acetic acid and halogenated and aromatic phosphonic acids.
