Abstract

1276559 Dough dividing machine BAKER PERKINS Ltd 1 Dec 1970 [1 Dec 1969] 58613/69 Heading B5A A radially vaned star wheel 3 and a plane cylinder 4 parallel thereto are rotated in opposite directions continuously or intermittently to sever dough pieces from a dough mass, fed from the outlet of a hopper 1, whenever a vane of the wheel meets, or comes into proximity to, the cylinder. The severed pieces are fed to a further dough divider, and a dough sensing device associated therewith may actuate an electric motor driving the wheel and cylinder.
