Abstract
127,562. Andersen, J. T. May 28, 1918, [Convention date]. Reservoir pens.-The ink in the reservoir of a stylographic pen is absorbed in a filling of porous or capillary material, such as cotton-wool, wadding, or asbestos, which extends to the end of a tubular writing-point integral with, or attached to, the reservoir. In the construction shown, the filling 3 is contained in a tube 4 of metal, glass, china, ebonite, &c. fitting into a holder 7. The tube 4 is open at the upper end, and is shaped at the lower end 5 to form a curved tubular writing-point. The upper end of the holder 7 is provided with an air passage 9 to maintain atmospheric pressure inside the reservoir. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a cap provided with an air passage and with a wiping-devioe of absorbent fabric &c. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
