A heat-sensitive stencil material comprises a base of thin porous paper, a film of vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer and a layer of powder on the film. The powder may be talc, starch, mica, silica, calcium carbonate or alumina and its use is to prevent sticking of the original to the stencil material during the heatimaging process.
