Abstract

1,261,239. Two-part couplings. SABENA SOC. ANON. BELGE D'EXPLOITATION DE LA NAVIGATION AERIENNE. 25 April, 1969, No. 21277/69. Heading H2E. Interchangeable interconnections between at least two groups A, B, C of contact points, are provided by conductors 5a, 5b, printed on a removable insulated board 4. The contact points are preferably connector contacts, electrically connected to the conductors of ribbon cables 1, 2, 3 which co-operate with edge contacts on the printed circuit board 4. The connector contacts, which may be removable, are mounted in strips of insulating material. The groups of contact points are supported in rows (Fig. 2, not shown), each row containing supplementary groups (B, C) which are connected by cables to other groups of contacts in other rows, thereby increasing the possible number of interconnections.
