Abstract

1,251,153. Gas burners. HALLER-MEURER-WERK A.G. 29 Jan., 1969 [13 Feb., 1968], No. 4869/69. Heading F4T. A universal gas burner has a Venturi mixing tube 2 and two parallel slot-like burner openings 23, 24 limited by sidewalls 38 connected by passageways 32 for secondary air to enter the gap between the openings. Each opening may be sub-divided by partitions 25, 26, and may be stiffened by rigid connections between the sidewalls by spot welds 36. To produce a uniform flame a deflector 15 at the outlet of the Venturi tube deflects a portion of the gas/ primary air mixture rearwardly.
