Abstract
1,244,360. Steel. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. and STAHLWERKE SUDWESTFALEN A.G. Nov. 11, 1968 [Nov. 11, 1967], No.53299/68. Heading C7A. A steel comprises in percentage by weight:- C 0À05-1À5 Cr 0À05-6 Mn 0À02-4 N 0À05-2 Si 0À02-4 Al 0-0À5, B 0-0À5, Co 0-6, Mo 0-4, Ni 0-6, Nb 0-0À5, Ta 0-0À5, Ti 0-0À5, V 0-0À5, W 0-2 and Zr 0-0À5, the balance, apart from impurities, being Fe in an amount of at least 90%. The steel may be annealed for 10-180 minutes at 5-150‹C. below the Ac, temperature and then rapidly cooled to below 250‹C. USE Components for use in vehicles and machinery, such as crank-shaft, connecting rod, gear-wheel, cam-shaft or tie rod.
