A switch for connecting a first coaxial radio frequency transmission line to either of two other coaxial radio frequency transmission lines comprises a housing of integral conductive material having an elongated base 17 extending between a pair of upright ends 18, with a switching cavity between the ends 18 generally parallel with the elongated base 17 and with three terminal cavities between the switching cavity and the base, the terminal cavities being isolated from each other by conductive barrier walls 23 integral with the housing. The terminal cavities and the switching cavity are separated from each other by an insulating panel 24. Three coaxial connectors 29, 31, are provided, of which the central contacts 28, 36 extend into the terminal cavities. One of the connectors 29 has an outer tubular conductor connected directly to the base 17 and each of the two remaining connectors 31 has an outer tubular conductor directly connected to base 17 or to a respective upright end 18. Three conductive contacts 25, 35 on panel 24 project into the switching cavity, with a conductor 27, 33 extending from each contact 25, 35 through its associated terminal cavity to the central conductor 28, 36, of its associated coaxial connector. A conductive cover 11 encloses and shields the cavities, and a conductive ball 37 mounted on a spring urged insulating plunger 38 is laterally slidable to interconnect a pair of contacts 25, 35.
