Abstract

1,131,848. Trays. PAUL TAYLOR DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. 25 Sept., 1967 [15 Feb., 1967], No. 7220/67. Heading B8P. A tray 10 for the reception of foodstuffs is provided with a removable false bottom 14 which overlies a bed 18 of liquid-absorbent material. The bottom 14 is provided with channels along which moisture from the contents can flow to an opening 17. The bed 18 can be formed of absorbent paper or expanded polystyrene and may be impregnated with a sterilizer or a deodorant.
