Abstract

1,117,283. Display devices. ASTRAL MARKETING Ltd. 2 May, 1967 [14 June, 1966], No. 26483/66. Heading G5C. A display device which is capable of withstanding high winds comprises a substantially rectangular frame 10 having a central spindle 11 rotatably mounted in base 12. Display matter is carried by panel 18 which is formed from a single sheet of flexible plastic material, and which is fastened to the upper edge of frame 10 by press studs 19 in such a way as to allow the panel to swing freely. Base 12 is moulded of plastic material and is hollow; in use it is filled with sand. Another form of panel (18) is illustrated (Fig. 3, not shown) which swings from loops (25), and into which display matter is inserted from the lower edge.
