Abstract

1,114,240. Agricultural implements. LAND BOUWWERKTUIGEN-EN MACHINEFABRIEK H. VISSERS N.V. 4 May, 1967 [5 May, 1966; 25 May, 1966], No. 20848/67. Heading A1B. The driving mechanism for a reciprocating harrow having transversely reciprocating beams 10, 20 coupled by levers 12 comprises an inclined journal 4 formed on the end of a horizontal driving shaft 2, 21, a sleeve 5 being rotatably supported on the journal and provided with a trunnion 16 which is coupled to U-shaped arms of a vertical shaft 7 fixed to levers 8 connected to the beams 10, 20. As shown two driving shafts are provided the shaft 2 being connected to a tractor power shaft 24 a flexible coupling 18 being incorporated into the drive. In a modification fixed beams provided with teeth are provided in front of the reciprocating beams.
