Abstract

117,499. Simplex Conduits, Ltd., and Waterhouse, L. M. July 20, 1917 Electric radiators.-Two or more independently controlled sets of heaters H, H', each consisting uf coils of resistance wire mounted on the face of refractory bars, are mounted on elastic brackets K on a frame consisting of a continuous side-bar A, a divided side-bar B, B', a top or bottom transverse conducting member C attached to the insulating bases of the switches D, E and plugcoupling F by the terminals thereof, and a diagonal brace J which connects the switch E to the bar B'. The heaters are attached to the brackets K by terminal bolts h<4>, the ends k<2> of the brackets engaging grooves in the bars; the inclination of the heaters can be adjusted by bending the brackets.
