Cu alloys suitable for use as valve bodies in valves used at high temperatures and pressures consist, in per cent by weight, of:- Zn 38-43 Ni 5-15 Cr 0À1-1 Ti 0À3 or less Si 0-0À5 Pb 0-0À5 Cu and impurities - balance. The alloys may be cast or forged, and machined.
