Abstract

1,166,546. Baling machines. R. RADLGRUBER. 29 Aug., 1967 [29 Aug., 1966], No. 39550/67. Heading B5F. [Also in Division B8] A combined baler and cart has a pick-up device 2 and conveyer 3 which feed material either to a baling chamber 21 or to a loading surface 6 according to whether a control flap 7 is in the full or broken line positions, respectively (Fig. 1). The baling chamber extends vertically and includes a reciprocating piston 20. Compressed and bound bales are discharged through an aperture (29), Fig. 2 (not shown), on to the loading surface 6. A stack of bales can be discharged on to the ground by means of a conveyer 8. Material is fed into the baling chamber by a feeder 15 having pivoted feed forks 14 which is reciprocated by means of a crank 17. Pressure on the bales is controlled by a plate 22 whose inclination is adjustable by a set-screw 23.
