Abstract

1,149,425. Bearings. STATNI VYZKUMNY USTAV PRO STAVBU. 28 Nov., 1966 [17 Dec., 1965], No. 53074/66. Heading F2A. In a hydrostatic fluid bearing, each of the pressurized-fluid apertures thereof has at least in its outlet part a centre-line essentially directed tangentially to the circumference of a journal supported by the bearing. In an embodiment, each aperture along with its nozzle portion 2, Fig. 2, is inclined to a radial plane passing through a bearing so that pressurized-fluid can be delivered tangentially relative to a shaft (not shown) mounted in the bearing. In another embodiment, each aperture is located radially in a bearing and has a nozzle portion 2 inclined to a radial plane passing through the bearing.
