Abstract

1,146,191. Air heating stoves. RADIATION Ltd. 18 May, 1967 [18 May, 1966], No. 22074/66. Headings F4S and F4W. In a wall mounted air heating stove having an imitation solid fuel fire 3, 4 of known type, situated within an enclosure 2, air induced through inlet apertures 10, 11 by a cross-flow fan 9 into a duct 7 is passed over a hot water radiator 5 to be discharged through louvres 8 into the space to be heated. The fan 9 may be controlled by a manual switch (13, Fig. 1) or by a room thermostat (not shown). In an alternative embodiment, the heating device may be disposed to one side of the imitation fire (see Figs. 5-7).
