Abstract

1,094,550. Changing signs. J. M. WASSON and R. Z. WASSON. Feb. 2, 1966, No. 4527/66. Heading G5C. In a composite sign comprising rotatable triangular-section units 16 with homologous signbearing faces any unit is individually slidable, when obstructed, out of driving engagement with a driven shaft 35. Each unit has an upper shaft (20) (Fig. 1, not shown) journalled in a metal bar (13) and a lower shaft 23 with radial arms 32-34 spring-biased towards radial arms 42-44 on the shaft 35. The arms 42-44 are of different lengths so as successively to engage the arms 32-34 which are at correspondingly different distances from the shaft 35.
