Abstract

1,093,055. Cutting tools. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 16, 1965 [April 29, 1964], No. 17796/64. Heading B3B. A cutting tool comprises a tungsten carbide tip 31, Figs. 6, 8, clamped to a holder 21A by a clamp 27. The tip has two sets of end faces 31A, 31B, forming an angle of about 160 degrees, and the shank and clamp have shaped parts 35, 37, which fit into recesses in the tip. The tip can have a cross-section as shown in Fig. 7 or Fig. 9.
