Abstract

Elastic polyurethanes are prepared by reacting a mixture of a hydroxypolyether of formula <FORM:1075467/C3/1> of M.W. 1000-3000 and a glycol of M.W. below 500 with an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diisocyanate, the resulting reaction product being subjected to a thermoplastic processing operation, e.g. extrusion, injection moulding and blow moulding and then tempered for at least 50 hours preferably at a temperature of 80 DEG C.
