Switches, quick-action.-In electric switches wherein one or more spring-pressed rollers carried by a hand-actuated rotatable arm are adapted to make contact between pairs of consecutive fixed contacts, the roller or rollers are mounted on an axle movable in radial slots in a rotatable arm and are pressed outwards radially by a forked spring embracing the rollers. As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, two rollers p, q, embraced by a forked spring l, are disposed on the two sides of a central flange o upon an axie n which is carried in the slots m of distanced arms r upon an hexagonal piece h on the shaft f of a thumb-piece a. The hexagonal piece may be in one with the shaft. The motion of the arms is limited by stops d, e.
